A little editing 8 years later...

This was my first attempt at properly shooting a sunset. I was incredibly lucky, because if you have ever been to England, you know how cloudy it usually is. I enjoy the lighting created in this shot because it does actually capture the ambient light of that evening. I couldn't have asked for better foreground subject matter.

A thinking man's game

I've been feeling the itch lately to go out and photograph something so I took some of my old equipment to the park today and came away with a couple of shots that I liked. Nothing real earth shattering here but I just love the icons the game.

Father and Son

I took this photo as a Christmas gift for Marcy. Now that she's received it I can finally post it. Photographing this baby continues to be a challenge but every once in a while you get a keeper. Merry Christmas!

The Fabulous Fox

I had been wanting some photos of downtown Atlanta for a while now, and while I was down seeing Australian Pink Floyd, I brought my camera to capture this Atlanta icon.

Dicks Creek

I made it up to Dicks Creek yesterday to snap some fall foliage photos. I think I was a couple weeks late in my endeavor but I still came away with a couple that I like. I also got to do my first waterfall photo with slow shutter speed. The second photo is a popular swimming hole in the summers in North Georgia even though the mountain stream is as cold as ice. I went there a couple of times in college and although it's been about 6 years since I've been there, it was exactly the way I remembered it.

Georgia Aquarium

I took this at the Georgia Aquarium a couple of weeks ago. I love the colors.
