A hot and long one at Turner Field

It was my first time seeing future hall-of-famer Ken Griffey Jr. play.
Pinch hitting for John Smoltz who threw seven scoreless innings with a season high 11 strikeouts, Chris Woodward squares to bunt. (...yeah, I thought John Smoltz was capable of bunting on his own too, turned out Soriano gave up a 2-run shot afterwards)
In the bottom of the 10th, Chipper Jones representing the winning run stands 90 feet away, but the Braves can't plate him.

Fire Dancer

While we were in Orlando, Mel and I took in a luau at the resort at Universal Studios. The fire dancer was by far the coolest part of the whole thing, although admittedly, all of it was pretty cool. I was happy with how this turned out after only a couple of adjustments while shooting.

Independence Day

My first try at fireworks... and not too bad. Stone Mountain Park was retardedly packed yesterday and Mel spotted a place to sit right on the guard rail in the front. It's the only bad part of the photos I took last night I think. The show was great though. For those of you who are like me and have been to countless Laser Shows at Stone Mountain Park, let me save you the suspense and tell you that the laser technology hasn't changed in at least 20 years. They do project full color images on the mountain as seen with the flags in the second shot.
